Tuesday January 20: Last night we skate groomed the our new 3km race alignment on the Aspen High School Trails Loop 30. It is a modernized FIS race course with increased technicality, though all other trails on Loop 30 are still open with excellent skate and classic skiing. Today we are not grooming in an effort to preserve the existing snowpack. Tonight is the Ute Series Night Team Sprints relocated to the ball fields near AVSC starting at 5pm - more info can be found on our events page. Use caution on open trails and expect thin and variable conditions nearly everywhere. Check Nordic Pulse for grooming updates. The Nordic Center at the Aspen Golf Course is open daily from 9-5.
